DOP Tom Park

In 2021 Tom Park shot an extensive 2 month project on the far edges of the Great Barrier Reef, with the production team at Descent Productions. Tourism & Events Queensland required an underwater cinematographer to capture a range of underwater destinations, attractions and reef systems for a promotional campaign focused on driving domestic tourism to the Great Barrier Reef. The production spanned across multiple tropical islands, many reefs on the Outer Great Barrier Reef, and a few extremely remote destinations over 190 Nautical Miles off Cairns.

The footage featured in this highlight reel was used across a variety of tourism and wildlife based edits and state tourism campaigns.
